Christmas Eve, we act out the Christmas Story, sing songs, read the Christmas Story, leave cookies for Santa, and open the beloved Christmas jammies to wear that night. Christmas morning was so fun. We opened presents and played with everything, tried everything on, and just loved the gifts that were given and loved on those who gave the gifts. Stinker #3 lost all interest in opening up presents after receiving the her baby doll.Truly, I love Christmas. I love being with my family. I love how no matter what it is that the kiddos receive they are excited and are grateful and oh so happy. I love how the kiddos have such a special view of the time of year. The way they would tell Baby Jesus "I Love You" when they would lay Him down His manger every night. How they make everything crazy and perfect all at the same time. And yes I realize Christmas was one month ago..... This is my attempt to keep Christmas in our hearts all year long :) Hope every one else had a lovely Christmas!!
